Our Mission

We foster efficient, streamlined service delivery to people affected by disaster, while eliminating unnecessary duplication of effort, through cooperation in the four phases of disaster: preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

We promote communication and collaboration among organizations throughout Riverside County in planning for and responding to disasters in order to:

  • Improve disaster preparedness throughout the County.
  • Increase the effectiveness of our collective response.
  • Minimize the duplication of resources.
  • Provide more efficient services to those affected by disasters.

Our next VOAD meeting will be on Thursday August 5 at 10:00 AM via ZOOM. We are pleased to announce Debbie S. Espinosa, President and CEO of FIND Food Bank will be our Guest Speaker. You will not want to miss her presentation. The meeting agenda and Zoom link will be sent out the week before our meeting. We look forward to your joining us.
